Where farmरस begins.

Our first farm is being developed at Basudevpur Chaputa in Vaishali, Bihar. It is designed as a practical integrated farming system: productive enough to be commercially meaningful, simple enough to be replicated, and disciplined enough to be measured.

Our operating principles

  • Drainage before plantation: crop selection means little if water stands around roots during the monsoon.
  • Soil and water testing before input decisions.
  • Controlled, rotational poultry access rather than unrestricted stocking.
  • Bee-safe crop protection and careful timing around flowering periods.
  • Staggered forage planting to extend flowering rather than create one short flush.
  • Records for planting, inputs, mortality, hive health, harvest and sales so the farm can learn from each cycle.

The farm is a learning ground.

We do not present the first farm as a finished formula. It is where we test spacing, crop combinations, forage calendars, poultry rotation, bee health, farm economics and post-harvest handling before taking practices to a wider farmer network.
